(Un)Covered

Grazia’s March cover had Angela underwater in Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna separates and a Dior necklace. While Vogue put Priyanka on its cover in a Shivan and Narresh swimsuit and a Burberry cape. How do you think these covers stack up against each other?

In Shivan And Narresh

Sameera continues to take sartorial risks which means her appearances are always ones we look forward to. That the said sartorial risks always pay off, no guarantees. Below, exhibit A.

Love the bangs she debuted with her top knot. Waist-up, it’s a look we love. However, it’s the rest of the look we have a problem with. How terribly unflattering are those high-waisted pants on her?!

Well Suited?

Anushka did menswear and the look was anything but boring thanks to the sexy Shivan & Narresh cut-out trikini that she paired her suit with. Keeping the look all-black helped downplay the ensemble so that it wasn’t too in your face.

Love!

P.S. That is a Shivan & Narresh neckpiece on her.

In Shivan & Narresh

It was a bespoke cut-out Shivan & Narresh dress was Manasi at a recent launch. A Bottega Veneta clutch and Jimmy Choo heels completed her look. The color looked great on her, the gown, am not as convinced.

WLIFW Spring 2013: Shivan & Narresh

Inspired by the work of abstract expressionist painter Barnett Newman, Shivan and Narresh presented a collection that was color-blocked perfection. No-fuss, very sleek and, just the right nod to Fifties and Sixties without getting too costume-y or gimmicky. Not much to dislike about this collection.
