It seems like everywhere you look, someone’s launching a book. The latest to join that wagon was Ms. Shetty who launched her food-related book today in Mumbai.

For the appearance she picked a two-toned Quo pant suit featuring a not-so-regular jacket. It is Ms. Shetty we are talking about, so you had to factor in that there was going to be some way she was going to show off that bod and make us all very very green with envy.

Adding a Dior brooch to the lapel, she kept the look simple finishing out with a book clutch and tan Charles & Keith sandals.

Over the past few weeks, we saw several celebs sport Rimple & Harpreet Narula suits, each one quite different from the other. While we had no favorites as such just because they all looked nice, we did think those short palazzo pants on Shilpa did look a bit odd. Only cuz the kurta and dupatta was so traditional. Just us feeling that way?

At a Diwali party in Mumbai, Shilpa was photographed in a Manish Malhotra sari. Diamond jewelry, Bulgari watch and an oversized exotic clutch finished out her look. She looked good! That said, the clutch sure stood out like a sore thumb… Wish she had picked one that was much smaller and in a color that was either matching or complimentary.

A day after hosting her own Diwali party, Shilpa attended Ekta Kapoor’s wearing a Tarun Tahiliani fusion sari look. Looks like Ms. Shetty has ditched her own rule of matching her bag color to her shoes although here she might have fared better if she had.
