Although the theme of Manish Malhotra’s 50th birthday bash was gold, Shilpa turned to black wearing a velvet Karn Malhotra dress with strappy sandals and an Isharya clutch.
I would’ve preferred a smaller clutch here, but she looked good. (I am going to ignore the hair color here.)

Shilpa taped a few more episodes this week and our favorite of them all was the Ridhi Mehra. As much I love that cheery Monisha Jaising, wasn’t a fan of that hairdo one bit.

Shilpa taped an episode of Super Dancer on Tuesday wearing a Shivan and Narresh sari with a Valliyan ear climber and a cuff and rings from Misho Designs.
Given the 3-d applique work on the border of the sari which was the real highlight of the outfit, I really wish Shilpa had just worn the climber and skipped on the cuff and rings.
All of them together made the look feel rather costumey versus effortlessly easy breezy.

On Monday, Shilpa taped for another episode of Super Dancer wearing a Payal Khandwala lehenga which on the runway was presented without the green jacket. I didn’t mind the addition of the latter but adding the necklace as well made the look feel crowded.
