On The Red Carpet

In similar colored gowns, both Sridevi and Shilpa Shetty attended the recent awards night. One to usually hit the right notes on a red carpet, this appearance of Sridevi’s was rather lacking. Not a fan of the gown. At all. The jewelry seemed off too, unnecessary and adds nothing to the look.

In comparison, Shilpa does fare better in hers. But are we blown away? Not really.

Shilpa sported two looks on Nach Baliye, first a Malini Ramani one shouldered jersey gown and then a gold Namrata Joshipura wrap dress. Much prefer her in the pink.

If the Malini Ramani looks familiar, it’s cuz we’ve seen it on Paris Hilton (minus the gold hem) here.

It was a blue Pankaj & Nidhi suit for Shilpa at Nach Baliye’s taping today. Love the suit but anyone else find the top part of the hair very similar to this? 😛

A judge on a television show, Shilpa Shetty picked a rather confusing outfit while on the sets filming. Here, let me break-down the look for you… Big hair, stage make-up, a gold cuff and collar necklace. Neon nails and metallic strappy heels. And finally, a blingy skirt paired with a knotted shirt that has embellished shoulders and cut-out details on sleeves. Whew! Now let it all sink in.

Not a fan of the look. None of it works together!

P.S: She was styled by and is wearing Nandita Mahtani.

At the 56th All India Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology 2013, Raveena Tandon was honored for her work with/for the Girl Child. An award that she collected wearing Manish Malhotra. Also at the event, Manish Malhotra showcased his collection. And walking the runway for him was Shilpa Shetty.

Considering one look was on-the-runway and the other off, are you hard pressed to pick a favorite?
