It was Shantanu and Nikhil for Tamannaah while at a recent event. Wavy hair and a bright lip is all that it took to finish out her look. While she looked lovely, can’t help but feel a tad overwhelmed with all that volume and seemingly heavy paneled hem.

Anushka attended the screening NH10 at the Beijing International Film Festival on Sunday doing desi in a Shantanu & Nikhil lehenga. Earlier in the day she attended a press meet for the movie wearing a fresh off the AIFW runway Rajesh Pratap Singh polka-dotted dress.

Wearing It Two Ways

When you’ve got to attend two back to back events at the same location within just a couple of hours, you do what Ms. Arora did today.

At the Brand Vision Awards where she received an award, Malaika wore a Shantanu & Nikhil draped top with a Neha Taneja skirt and a necklace from Farah Khan Fine Jewellery.

As she was hosting the GJEPC Artisan Awards 2015 right after, it didn’t quite allow her to do a completely different outfit. So with bit of a switcheroo, by wearing a Shantanu and Nikhil draped sari over her draped top (and pairing the look with jewellery from Roopa Vohra) she achieved a totally different look from the previous one.

Question now is, think she fared better in one look over the other? She looked good in both looks but am swaying towards the skirt look just a wee bit more.

Per her tweet, Amrita got this Shantanu and Nikhil lehenga made for her wedding but never wore it. Even though the lehenga was a bit overwhelming for my taste, I wish she’d worn her hair a bit more styled here to downplay it. The red lip wasn’t enough to make the look complete.

As is, it almost felt like she stepped out of the shower, put on the outfit and dashed out the door. Kind of like my everyday head to work routine. 😛

P.S. That’s a gold McQueen Union Jack clutch on her.

The premiere of Dolly Ki Doli in Dubai saw Malaika do white and gold again, this time in a one-shouldered Shantanu-Nikhil gown. Wearing her hair in an updo, her look was finished out with vintage Elizabeth Arden earrings, a Cartier bracelet and a box clutch.

The bold red lip made her look even more diva-esque. She looked amazing.
