While Manish Arora designed for the six teams of ICL, SRK roped in Manish Malhotra to design the jersey for his IPL team, the Kolkata Knight Riders.(Who knew SRK was a Hasselhoff fan!)

The colors of the jersey are black and gold, the black inspired by the Goddess Kali and the gold because, the team is aiming for gold! Umm.. corny ain’t it.. totally filmi ishtyle!

Can’t wait to see the rest of the IPL team’s jerseys now, considering Mallya owns Bangalore, he sure is gonna splurge a lot on his team’s gear!

Edit: Thanks to my better half! Mallya owns Bangalore, not Goa! (Guess am still stuck at locations from the Kingfisher Swimsuit calendar!)

Purple was the color du jour at the Halla Bol Premiere and we’ve seen this color surface again and again, and we didn’t call it a season favorite for nothing!

Saw Shahrukh Khan performing at the Airtel Bindaas concert in a Purple velvet suit and can now officially say he has ended my love affair with this season’s strong hue single-handedly! That characterless top that Ayesha Takia wore to the Sunday press meet didn’t do anything in its favor either!

Did I actually say Gauri Khan was beginning to dress a little more subtle?!! Because if I did, and I did, its time to beat a hasty lil’ retreat! Look at what she turned up in at the Star Screen Awards…

That obsession with animal-prints has just got to stop. And those chenille or sateen (or whatever else) trousers, just what the hell is that??

And this is a woman who’s been on the cover of Vogue.

If you thought that the armlets sported by Kajol and Tanisha were a fashion statement, you are quite mistaken. The sisters have actually turned to gems for luck. (Well, Tanisha needs it big time, why does Kajol?)

Anyhoo, while others wear gems on their fingers (like the big bachchan), the girls have stuck to wearing it on their arms.

But, look who else has now started following them too! Now you know why we said, it’s all in the family! 😉
