Let me first begin by saying that I think Kajol looks so good neck up. I love the hair and the kundan earrings but the green Manish Malhotra is such a downer. The green and pink instead of making her stand out on the red carpet, wash her out.

Black and red seemed to be the theme of this press meet with the main protaganists of the movie ‘My Name Is Khan’ wearing the two colors. SRK looked quite dapper in his suit but as gorgeous as Kajol looked, the stripes in her Manish Malhotra sari didn’t flatter her. A non-sheer black one would have been oh-so-fab.

Clearly of the three, Javed is the worst off but that doesn’t mean we like SRK or Kunal either (although SRK is slightly better off than Kunal). We just can’t bring ourselves to like that beige/tan leather jacket on Kunal.

It was popular knowledge that SRK was going to walk the ramp for Karan Johar’s new menswear line previewing at HDIL Couture Week but word spread yesterday that Gauri was also going to be joining him on the ramp. You’d think SRK would be the scene stealer but on this ramp it was Gauri who stole the show. I didn’t care much for the half-tucked shirt paired with the mini look (would have much prefered a tank) but then considering it is a menswear line it seems appropo that she was in one. Am so distracted by Gauri, I don’t even care how SRK looks. 😛

It almost seems like, after looking at this Vogue India spread, that the dresses in question were picked before even deciding on subject. How else can you explain layering that beautiful Versace dress with a boring black top and the last pic where Kajol looks like she is trying to hold the dress up?
