Huma and Saiyami both wore floral embroidered Manish Malhotra kurta and pants to the Mijwan Summer Fashion show but between the two, we thought Ms. Qureshi fared better by keeping her footwear simple. In wearing the hair down and pairing the kurta with those chunky sandals, her look just felt very heavy.

Agree?

Wearing a strapless Amit Aggarwal gown, Saiyami attended the 2017 Filmfare Awards which is underway as we type. Hair in an updo, her look was finished out with diamond earrings.

Ms. Kher’s outings have been a lil’ lackluster but this sure made up for it.

P.S. The sponsors of the show didn’t allow other photographers to the event, so we are having to use social media pics for now.

In Shantanu & Nikhil

At the event held last night, Saiyami picked up an award wearing a Shantanu and Nikhil gown. By opting for a muted lip color and skipping jewelry and a clutch, the actor let her gown do all the talking.

Maybe with the hair slicked back in a sleek knot and a matte lip color in a dark jewel-tone there would’ve been some drama to the look. As is though, we were left rather underwhelmed. We expect more of Ms. Kher and the choice of gown didn’t quite cut it.

Saiyami walked the Star Screen Awards red carpet wearing an embellished gown by Dolly J with jewellery from Maithili Kabre. Smoky eyes and a soft wavy do finished out her look.

At first, I couldn’t quite point out why I wasn’t quite sold on the look but the more I look, the more I blame the eye-makeup. The gown needed a bit of color and the brown eye-shadow didn’t quite cut it.

Of Trunk Shows

At Payal Singhal’s trunk show in Mumbai, Saiyami and Tanisha sported separates that had a tiered look to them. While Ms. Kher kept it simple and just added a pair of jootis to her look, Tanisha added pink Shaheen Abbas earrings and a white Prada mini tote to hers.

Even though Saiyami stuck to her unstyled mantra, I did like her outfit.

As for Tanisha, the finishing touches weren’t the best pics but the bigger issue was with her outfit. I think I would’ve preferred it if the pants didn’t have that lace overlay.
