Soundarya tied the knot with Vishagan over the weekend and here are pics of the bride and groom but mostly the bride. 😉

She started off with a Varun Bahl lehenga for the mehendi and sangeet, a couple of silk saris that included a pink one by Tulsi Silk that had extra beading work done by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. For her reception, it was a Sabyasachi lehenga.

We wish the newly weds our very best!

Style Spotlight: Upasana Kamineni Konidela

Featuring on our list of celebrity closets we’d love to raid for desi clothes is Upasana Kamineni Konidela! In this week’s style spotlight we focus on some of her lust worthy clothes that she has been spotted wearing.

Upasana, who is married to actor Ram Charan Teja and the Vice-Chairman of Apollo Charities, is often spotted in various social events happening in Hyderabad wearing Indian designers. While she mixes the styles up, she seems to be partial to Anamika Khanna, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla (with whom she is close friends with) and Tarun Tahiliani (who designed her wedding trousseau and is designing her home).

While I liked most of her sartorial choices, its the Anamika Khannas that I love! Plus any celebrity who re-wears clothes and repeats their accessories is an instant winner in our books!

At Manikarnika promotions, Kangana was seen in a green Sabyasachi sari with jewellery also by the designer. If you couldn’t make out which one was the model and which one, Kangana, you wouldn’t have been the only one. 😛

Having said that, the sari and blouse sure are gorgeous. I just wish actors would bring their individuality to the outfits as well.

Anushka wore a sheer sparkly Sabyasachi sari to Priyanka and Nick’s wedding reception on Thursday evening pairing it with diamond and emerald jewellery from the designer’s jewellery line.

I would’ve preferred an emerald drop style necklace here but she still looked nice and I liked. But, I would’ve loved it, if she’d not done the same ole same ole Sabyasachi styling diktat.

Ranveer and Deepika attended Priyanka and Nick’s wedding reception where the former was seen in a black sherwani and white churidaars and the latter in a black and gold Sabyasachi lehenga. Deepika stuck to the sleek middle-parted do but wore her hair down this time and skipped on the heavy eye-makeup and that itself made for a very welcome change.

They both looked good!
