For both Kanishtha and Rachel, it was Sabyasachi for the IIFA Rocks event and, what can we say, we love it! Both ladies bring so much to their look. We especially love model Rachel Bayros’s look on the green carpet.

Ms. Basu made an appearance on the green carpet but it was her appearance on the runway (for Sabyasachi) that really caught our attention. We were just blown away by the look.
Do you blame us for finding the green carpet (an Armaan by Sunaina Puri with Balmain sandals) look very predictable!?

Also at Cannes were Kanishtha and Sabyasachi with the designer having dressed the Miss India.
Wearing an ornate Sabyasachi lehenga, Kanishta channeled modern royalty and, as pretty as she did look, the fabulous look seemed a tad out of place on the red carpet.
Also, just how dapper does the designer himself look? Loved Mr. Mukherjee’s appearance on the red carpet.

It was a super-glam Sabyasachi sari for IAAC executive director, Aroon Shivdasani at the premiere of ‘Do Dooni Chaar’ on the opening night of New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF)… We may not agree with her choice of blouse (at all) but she does wear her look with a certain amount of charm and confidence that we can’t help but like! Oh, and how I love that sari… I may be biased coz it hangs in my closet! 😉
Ms. Shivdasani was also spotted in a far more understated sari during the Film Festival which she once again paired with a halter-neck blouse. And again, not particularly a fan of the blouse.
P.S: The Sabyasachi sari (from Pia Ka Ghar) was to be auctioned off for charity after the premiere.

Kalki and Anurag weren’t the only folks who tied the knot past week. Tamil/Malayalam movie star Prithviraj also tied the knot with BBC journalist Supriya Menon last week and the newly weds had their reception in Ernakulam on Sunday night.
For the wedding ceremony, the bride and groom wore traditional white but for the reception it was Sabyasachi outfits for both.
We wish the newly weds all the best. Thanks ‘KayAr’ for the news tip-off.
