There is no denying that Rani looked just gorgeous in her black Sabyasachi. Having said that though, I also find the way the dupatta is worn, a bit sloppy/awkward. But, that’s just me.

Designer Payal Khandwala was spotted in a Sabyasachi colorblocked outfit that didn’t veer far from the designer’s own style aesthetic. While we loved the look, the purple elements felt one color too many for the look.

At the wedding of singer Sunidhi Chauhan with music director Hitesh Sonik, Radhika and Hard Kaur were spotted in Sabyasachi and Manish Malhotra respectively. Hard did feel a tad bit overdressed and overdone makeup-wise but did love the lehenga.

It’s Wednesday, and you know what that means! And while we work on the celebrities you’ve suggested, let’s shine the spotlight on Shruti’s style this week.
You will agree that when she first burst on to the scene, she had some rough edges on her, and we mean that in the best way. It meant she kept it fresh, individualistic and while not out and out edgy, did have bit of an edge to her. And then she dove in to the industry’s expected leading actresses’ fall back sartorial look-book morphing in to another pretty actress in a sequined sari.
We haven’t give up hope yet. Here are some of our picks that we think would look great on Shruti both straight off the runway and some slightly modified. We’d love for her to be both Glamorous and Individualistic.
