Kalyani attended the two events over the weekend wearing Stella McCartney top and skirt to the BOF event and a firmal ruffled Dior gown to the Sabyasachi show. Between the two, loved her in the Dior just a wee bit more.

At the Sabyasachi show, Radhika Raje Gaekwad, the queen of Baroda wore her vintage 100 year old nine-yard cotton Paitani in a nauvari drape paired with a long 11-strand necklace, jhumkis and black embroidered juttis. At such high-profile events, most tend to opt for contemporary western formals so there was a certain charm to seeing Mrs. Gaekwad opt for a very traditonal drape.
Loved it.

Well, I’ve been all day hoping we would get high-res pics from Sabyasachi featuring Deepika. Alas, can’t wait any more so lets delve into Deepika who opened the show for the designer wearing a monochromatic layered white look completed with black gloves, a black Camellia flower headband and loads of jewellery. Instead of a red lip, her look was completed with a dark brown lip. This look should feel striking but I found the cotton outfit a bit underwhelming. Ms. Turlington was better styled in my opinion.
