Ms. Chopra went the desi route for both appearances on the red carpet at the Marrakech Film Festival. Between the ornate Manish Malhotra lehenga and the simple Ritu Kumar sari, much preferred the former and only because the sari didn’t quite work with that shade of lipstick and hair.

Also at the sangeet were these lovely ladies with Neetu and Anu in Abu Sandeep kurta-churidaars and Shabina in Ritu Kumar and Krishika in Vikram Phadnis lehengas.

The ladies in suits definitely fared better than the ones who picked lehengas. To be fair though, Shabina fared a lot better than Ms. Lulla. You only need one quick Google image search to see Ms. Lulla’s serious fit issues.

One to almost always get it right, Neha left us wee bit disappointed with her sartorial choices at two recent events. While she looked gorgeous waist-up both times, it was the rest of her look that was her undoing. Neither were we fans of the nude-gold tights (Nikasha), nor did we think that particular shade of green (Ritu Kumar) did anything for Neha. Just us?
