In Babita Malkani

Wearing a blue draped Babita Malkani kaftan, Raveena attended a round table discussion on Friday. Like the kaftan? I particularly didn’t care for those fringe beads at the waist.

Travel(v)ogue

Raveena, who has been frequently photographed jetting out of Mumbai recently hasn’t been afraid of giving us some serious “looks” when traveling- ranging from athleisure, to all out dressed up in a beaded Rohit Gandhi Rahul Khanna top and leather pants to more relaxed Me and Mu separates.

Which look of hers stood out to you most?

Sari Style

Wearing an embellished sheer grey sari, Raveena attended a recent wedding reception in Mumbai. With her hair in an updo, she rounded out the look with diamond and ruby jewelry. Despite how we feel about the sari (and blouse) personally, there’s no denying Ms. Tandon looked nice.

Of Gowns

While at a recent reception held in Mumbai, Raveena was photographed in a gown by Tanieya Khanuja, and Urmila in one by Manish Malhotra.

Though their respective gowns worked for them, I found Urmila’s relatively more relaxed and appropriate to attend someone’s reception in. I only wish she (Urmila) had chosen understated earrings and a clutch that didn’t clash with her gown so much.

In Tarun Tahiliani

Wearing a Tarun Tahiliani lehenga, Raveena attended another wedding in Mumbai recently. Diamond and emerald jewelry and a gold-toned potli rounded out her look.

She looked nice but really wish that blouse/choli didn’t have sheer sleeves… It single-handedly brings down the look a notch or two. If the purpose is to bring in some weightlessness (and I am only guessing here) to an otherwise heavy lehenga, why not just go sleeveless or with short-sleeves to balance out the weightiness of the outfit?!
