For her appearance at a recent screening, Rakul picked a separates set by Nikita Mhaisalkar to wear. Layered necklaces and pair of boots rounded out her boho-inspired look. At the launch of Jio Studios in Mumbai, the actor was photographed in a body-con dress by Gauge 81. The black mini looks like a clubbing staple from the early naughts and nope, that’s not a good thing.

Between the two looks, no prizes for guessing which I liked Rakul more in!

For her appearance at a recent Awards event, Rakul picked a Tanieya Khanuja gown to wear. With her hair in a top knot, she rounded out the look with an emerald pendant necklace and pair of strappy sandals.

I wish she had picked sleeker, non-strappy sandals. There’s already so much going on visually, we didn’t need our eyes drawn to the criss-cross effect at the feet too. Minus that little gripe, no taking away from the fact that Rakul looked great at this event. It’s a tricky dress and she worked every bit of the look.

Teaming her Shantanu and Nikhil outfit with Amrapali jewelry and Jimmy Choo boots, Rakul attended the NMACC Gala last evening in Mumbai.

Personally, I would’ve loved to see those Rene Caovilla style sandals snaking up the ankle/calf but the Choo boots weren’t a deal-breaker either. The separates work for her and it’s a look she wears well; Rakul looked good!

Wearing printed separates, Rakul stepped out in Mumbai not too long ago. She rounded out both of her looks with easy flats and designer bags. Of the two sets of co-ords, I am drawn to the look in blue and white more; that whole look seemed to come together better!

At Netflix’s event in Mumbai, both Sanya and Rakul were photographed in black dresses. Black heels and blue/green earrings rounded out both their looks.

Of the two, my vote would have to go to Sanya; she looked good. Sure, she could’ve done better in the earrings department but it was hardly a deal-breaker. Rakul’s look in the Hasan Hejazi mini was just plain tired and dated; wasn’t a fan.
