Gowning Glory

The I Am She 2011 winners were crowned last night in Mumbai and made an appearance today with Sushmita at a press meet.

The Miss Universe India winner was Vasuki Sunkavalli who wore a grey version of an S&N Drape by Shantanu Nikhil gown. The gown was also seen on Sarah Jane last month at the Ford Supermodel contest held in Delhi.

We’ve seen Tanvi’s pink gown in pink (on Yaana and Malaika) and in teal (on Sonali). Except, while the other ladies wore the drape sash at the back, Tanvi wore it on the front.

Miss Globe International Parul’s Rajat Tangri gown was the only one that we haven’t seen before that is if you ignore the fact that we did see the color combo and rhinestone design on Kangna at the IIFAs recently.

Ditto!

We first saw this Rajat Tangri on Chitrangda back in Feb. Yesterday at the unveiling of I AM She contestants, past winner Ushoshi donned the red gown too complete with her crown and sash.

As great as Ushoshi looked in hers, we’re a tad bit biased towards Chitrangda. 😛

From Runway To Photoshoot To Real Life

Less than two weeks ago we saw Sonam sport this Rajat Tangri dress for a Filmfare editorial. On Thu night, Ushoshi wore this dress in real life pairing it with grey (Alexander Wang Jac look-alikes) sandals. I am guessing Ushoshi wanted to play off of the grey of the skirt but those sandals do not work.
