While to-be-mommy dressed in a maroon Manish Malhotra, to-be-daddy opted for a blue Shantanu-Nikhil sherwani. A wedding means bling but… The clothes didn’t need the shimmer and shine, mommy-to-be glowed a whole lot in her simple outfit and made an impression.

With access to a designer like Tarun Tahiliani, it is quite disappointing that this is the best the two (Shilpa and Tarun) could do for a reception. But, it is still their day and we wish them the very best.

Unless you’ve been living under a stone, that Shilpa Shetty got married to Raj Kundra shouldn’t be news to you. Here are the first pics of the couple with Shilpa wearing a red lehenga-style sari by Tarun Tahiliani and Raj in a brocade sherwani by designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil.
The night before at her sangeet, Shilpa wore a gold anarkali again by designer Tarun Tahiliani. Congratulations to the happy couple.

Wearing a pink Manish Malhotra sari and Kundan jewellery by Anmol Kewellers, Ms. Shetty got engaged to her long time beau, Raj Kundra at a private ceremony in Mumbai. Congratulations to the happy couple.

Shilpe wore a Léger again, this time a foil print dress from the Resort 2009 collection. But, its such a shame that that again we can’t quite appreciate properly, the famous bandage dress on her. The first time (see here), the background was so blue, the beauty of the dress was lost. This time, we just don’t have a full-length pic to see whether she did any justice to it!
What a bummer! Guess we’ll have to wait for more pics from the event to come out! Here’s hoping!
