At the InStyle Awards on Monday evening, Priyanka received the Breakthrough Style Star honor and at the event was seen in a Haider Ackmermann one-shouldered top and black zipper skirt.

Given the event, I get the reason to go for a very fashion-forward look but, did it work? I didn’t think so. I do love over-sized sleeves but here it just looked odd. Possibly because of the material that didn’t photograph too well. I also thought the wet hair and dark lip didn’t quite work with the outfit.

This one was not quite a winner. Agree?

Priyanka attended PaleyFest on Monday evening wearing a dress from the Burberry x Barneys collection with ankle-strap pumps and jewellery from Noor Fares. The printed wrap dress may have had that sleepwear vibe but what made this look pop was that lip color. Or maybe am in love with it just because I got myself a similar shade. Just obsessed currently with browns. And red. And hot pinks. 😛

Back to Ms. Chopra, wish she’d worn a different pair of footwear. It doesn’t seem to quite gel with the rest of the outfit.

Doing Denim

Priyanka attended Carolina Herrera’s 35 Years In Fashion book launch in NYC on Thursday evening sporting a denim trench dress from the Spring 2017 presentation.

The trench with its boxy feel already had a bit of the 80s vibe and giving it more punch was the sleek high ponytail and deep burgundy lips.

Ms. Chopra looked good!
