Priyanka Chopra accepted her National Award for Best Actress in ‘Fashion’ wearing what I suspect is a Manish Malhotra sari. There were many aspects about her look that left me disappointed. Firstly, the color really didn’t stand out, the extensions were back (how I wished she had skipped them altogether!) and my biggest complain was that considering this was a National Awards ceremony and not a glitzy Filmfare awards, I would have rather seen her wear an outfit that was more demure in nature and packed more punch via color.
P.S. On an aside, there was a big ‘awww’ moment when she gave a kid (a fan) a huge hug after collecting her award.

At a recent event, Ms. Chopra was spotted wearing a wrap dress with criss-cross white sandals, a look that reminded us a lot of the one seen on her last year. Question, is which look do you prefer? I vote for neither. The dress just doesn’t pack enough of a punch for me.

At a recent Fashion Show cum Valentine’s day bash, Neetu Chandra was spotted wearing the same Fall 2007 Ferretti seen first on Priyanka back in 2008. From what we see, the color looks great on her. Wish we had a full-length and that Ms. Chandra had worn some solitaires.

Here is first look of the custom made Salvatore Ferragamo sandals made for Priyanka Chopra as part of the Shoes For A Star project. While I would love to see Ms. Chopra debut these with a simple dark-hued gown with a thigh-high slit, Priyanka wouldn’t mind seeing her in a Roland Mouret dress with a below-knee hemline.
Don’t know whether we’ll get our wishes but our question to you is, are the sandals fab or flop?
