Match A Wee Bit Much

At first glance it hardly looks like Ms. Bedi’s done something wrong. After all, pairing animal print with black pants is hardly rocket science, right?

Well, loook closely. You see what we see? Yep, that is an animal print belt in the exact same print. Why Pooja Why?

In Gauri and Nainika

We know Ms. Bedi loves her Gauri-Nainika gowns but boy, aren’t we glad that she decided to skip the huge rosette detail that was on this gown seen on Suzanne at HDIL Couture Week. (see here).

All That Glitters…

Seeing shades of Gold at an Indian wedding/reception certainly comes as no surprise, it’s even expected. And that’s exactly what we spotted at Laila Khan’s wedding reception, the hue in it’s various tones… However, the fact that not even one look had us going ‘Wow’ certainly did come as a surprise.

(I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the fact that Payal absolutely liked this appearance of Dia’s. For me, it was a ‘Not Quite’.)

LFW: Libas By Riyaz Gangji

Marchesa (2nd look), Balmain (3rd look), Bottega Veneta (4th look) and prom is what we drew from Riyaz by Riyaz Gangji’s latest collection which consisted of gowns predominantly in white. Pooja Bedi was the showstopper who wore a cream creation and while she herself looked great, the gown was anything but. Too prom-like.

Dinner Duds

The Bedi family (with Pooja wearing a Gauri and Nainika gown) also attended the Gala dinner hosted by the DVK Foundation which raised money for victims of the Mumbai 26/11 terror attacks. Of the not-so-impressive lot, Mr. Kapoor sure had me shaking my head in disappointment. Was it that hard to grab hold of a tie and a good pair of dress shoes? Heck, I’d rather have seen him in his favorite jacket.
