Also wearing LaQuan Smith was Ms. Bharucha who sported a red puff-sleeve mini dress from the designer’s label. I liked the idea of doing a tonal look but the dress seemed a wee bit snug at the bottom and personally I wasn’t warming up to those platform sandals.

Wearing a Coperni gown, Nushrat attended the screening of her movie. She started off with peep-toe-pumps but switched to PVC sandals, a move I didn’t quite like. Footwear pairing aside, she wore the gown well.

Nushrat was seen in dresses recently first in a black Abhishek Sharma dress paired with ankle-strap sandals and then in a House of CB corset one at the screening of a movie. While she looked nice in both, was drawn more to the corset dress here.

Both Kubbra and Nushrat walked a recent red carpet wearing red- the former picked a sparkly gown by Lia Stublla and the latter, a sari-inspired gown. Was I fan of either look? Not really, both veered dangerously close to ‘tacktastic‘ territory. But if I had to pick one, I do think Nushrat fared better at the Awards (even if not by much); she made the look work for her.

At the IIFA Awards held not too long ago, Nushrat was photographed in a sequinned pink Tanieya Khanuja gown that also featured a trailing ruffled cape. Diamond jewelry and chunky platform sandals rounded out the actor’s look.
More recently, Nushrat attended a wedding reception in Mumbai wearing a graphic print lehenga that featured pops of pink. Given the embellished neckline, it was a good move to skip a necklace and opt for earrings and rings instead.
Of the two, have a favorite? Can’t say I was a fan of either outfit but if I had to absolutely choose, I’d pick the lehenga. The gown screamed ‘dated’ to me and those shoes only helped seal the deal. Hair and make-up was on point though.
