Rakul was one of the very few to do a sari at the IIFA Utsavam and while we’d like to say we liked it, can’t say we did.
Between the sari fabric, the embellishment and the blouse, the look was just overtly flashy. The glittery jewellery (Maithili Kabre) and clutch (an Anandita) didn’t help either.

At the audio launch of Speedunnodu, Rakul was seen in a cutout black crop top and printed maxi skirt, both from Reeti Arneja. Hair worn sideswept, her look was finished out with a pair of Suhani Pittie earrings.
With all that cutout, you’d think the outfit would be an immediate disaster but Rakul does wear it rather well.

At the screening of Cheekati Rajyam, Rakul was seen in a green Ritu Kumar maxi, one that she wore with a black chain bag and simple sandals.
Given that this wasn’t a big red carpet event, the jewellery-free casual look worked.

Face of NAC Jewellers, Trisha attended the inauguration of two of its stores recently, wearing a Sailesh Singhania sari to one and a Anushree Reddy lehenga to the other. Between the lehenga and the sari, it was easy to pick the latter as the favorite. She looked absolutely lovely in it.
As for the lehenga look, the way it pooled awkwardly at the hemline, made the look not so like-able. A higher pair of heels or maybe worn a wee bit higher on the waist might have worked better.

Wearing a Babita Malkani gown, Samantha attended the audio launch of the Telugu movie Sankarabharanam. The gown with its asymmetric cape may not be our cup of tea but we have to admit, Samantha looked gorgeous in the look. Staying away from statement jewellery was a very good move here and while the side-swept hair should’ve made the look feel too left heavy, it didn’t quite.
Like we said, she looked great!
