At the audio launch of her movie ‘Lakshmi Bomb’, Lakshmi did gold head to toe in Anamika Khanna and Amrapali. As a die-hard AK fan, it always hurts when you see a look that just doesn’t work.
The necklace was the wrong pick for that neckline but the bigger issue was the outfit itself. It probably looked good in real life but all that gold came off looking too loud in pictures.
Wearing a black hasli necklace or a longer multi-layered kundan one might have offset the outfit and downplayed all that gold.
