Dress Code

Short navy dresses with simple strappy wedges seem to be a favorite of Ms. Mahtani’s and we quite like the latest appearance from the ‘Acid Factory’ premiere. You?

In Nandita Mahtani

A dress that looked mighty fine on the runway could only be best described as ‘meh‘ off of it!

Seeing Double

Unless we missed the ‘Nandita Mahtani For Sir Alistair Rai’ press release, the uncanny similarity between the two is pretty discomforting!

Update: Perhaps I should have been clearer… Nandita’s collection came first!

Wearing It Again. Together!

Planned or unplanned, it was funny to see both Surily and Nandita repeat the same outfits seen on them earlier at the DragonFly bash back in Nov 2008. Surily wore her Stella McCartney dress this time with her blue Bottega Veneta karung clutch, while Nandita paired her top with a white denims and another Bottega Veneta clutch the second time around.

Sandalicious?

When we first featured the bootie-sandals (also referred to as the sock sandals), a majority of you hated it. (see here)

Designer Nandita Mahtani sported the look at the launch of ‘Evolve’ spa, where she wore her brown Free People sandals with a white dress. Have to say, the sandals aren’t something everyone can pull off, but I think she does.

As for the sandals, love em or hate em? Leave your opinion in the poll.

As for Nandita’s look, let us know via comments. 😉
