Mouni was seen at a screening wearing a stitched sari-inspired (should we call it a gown?) by Jade. The whole split in the front and high-low hem on the skirt coupled with the short pallu just didn’t make for an appealing outfit. Also, in some videos, the top looked like two items layered over. But, again, that’s my taste. Did you like this?

Mouni was spotted at a dinner wearing a ribbed maxi dress from Marques Almeida paired with a Prada bag and Balenciaga boots. At first glance, the boots felt too heavy for the dress but they are growing on me.

Mouni was seen at a wedding reception in an ombre brown sari from Sawan Gandhi with heavy earrings. She looked nice in it.
Coming to the sari though, not a fan of it. Unless it is a printed one, a pure silk /satin sari should have both sides be the same. In this case, it looks like a yardage embellished with a sequin border.
