At the Miss Diva 2016 launch party, Lara went the shimmery route in a gold fishnet pattern gown by Monisha Jaising. Hair worn sleek straight middle parted, her look was finished out with Prerto fringe earrings and Choo sandals.

The gown with its tricky color is a very hard one to pull and while she wore it well, I wasn’t a big fan of the hair and eye makeup. I think the thought process was to pull off a Cleopatra-inspired look but it wasn’t 100% successful. I blame the hair more here. You?

Doing Denim

Wearing Monisha Jaising, Esha Gupta attended the screening of Rustom on Thursday evening with mesh Louboutins finishing out the dressed up denim look. At first glance, the embellished sweatshirt with the embellished denims felt a bit much but Ms. Gupta seemed to pull it off. Like she mostly does.

Ileana also had been busy promoting Rustom all across the country with Esha and Akshay giving us looks that included gowns as well as casual separates.

Call me biased but that Payal Khandwala look was an instant favorite followed by the Jaising. Just wish the latter didn’t pool on the floor as it did.

It was a surprise to see Mahira Khan at the Vogue Beauty Awards, but we really shouldn’t be, considering she is going to be seen soon on screen in Raees. The Pakistani actor wore a one-shouldered Monisha Jaising gown with a pyramid Judith Leiber minaudiere and a ring by Renu Oberoi Fine jewellery.

Some of you may find the look a bit bare because of the lack of jewellery, but I really loved it.

The 2016 Vogue Beauty Awards are underway as we post and in attendance as usual were plenty of celebs. Karisma attended the event wearing a black Monisha Jaising gown wearing it with gold drop earrings and a box clutch.

I would’ve preferred some statement gold studs here but that isn’t to say she didn’t look good. She did.
