Ensemble, the multi-designer store, unveiled its new bigger store on Wednesday evening with a party that was attended by fashion’s who’s who. In attendance and wearing Surily dresses were former models Ujjwala and Mehr.
Can’t say we were fans of either dress. Were you?

Mehr made a rare appearance at Lakme Fashion Week on Saturday and was seen in two outfits, first in a Shriya Som dress and later in a Monisha Jaising shimmer blazer.
Between the two, much preferred her in the separates, even though I wasn’t big on those pants. Or those sandals.

We don’t see enough of Ms. Jessia on these pages and while I’d like to say this sighting of hers was one for sore eyes, can’t quite so. The problem with her look in the burgundy Monisha Jaising wasn’t with the gown itself, but it was with her eye-makeup. It probably looked ok in person but in photographs came off looking odd.
With a face and bod like that, she could do so much better. A nice casual top knot, no eye-makeup and a glossy lip and this look would’ve been so chic.

While at the ‘India Art Fair’, Mehr was photographed looking rather statuesque in her Monisha Jaising gown and gorgeous Hanut Singh earrings adding just the right bit of pop to her look. Now, more finished hair and a spot of brighter lip or darker eye would’ve been nice but it is Mehr we are speaking of! We’ll take what we get; she looked nice!
