The M Factor

Nushrat was seen at Diwali parties last week in crop top and skirts, first in a pink Manish Malhotra, then a Marwar Couture and finally in a cherry red one from Manish Gharat.

Who would’ve thought that I’d pick the Manish as one of the best. That gold Marwar top was just crude and the heart pattern on the Manish seemed out of place for a Diwali soiree. Perhaps she should’ve worn it for a Valentine promotional event. 😛

Yellow Fever

Kiara and Sidharth color co-ordinated on Diwali in yellow outfits from Manish Malhotra. It was nice to see some of the relatively simpler fare from the designer.

In Twos

Alaya attended two Diwali parties wearing a crop top and skirts, first in a gold one from Manish Malhotra to his Diwali party and then in a silver lamé one from Monisha Jaising.

Between the two, oddly I was drawn more the gold Malhotra.

In Threes

Sonakshi attended two Diwali parties and a fashion show and was seen in a silk top, jacket and pants set from Manish Malhotra, a red Vikram Phadnis floor-length anarkali and then in one from Itrh.

As much as the blue outfit looked like a pyjama set, I was drawn to it. She looked nice in the Itrh too. Wasn’t loving the Phadnis as much.

In Twos

Pooja attended a Diwali party wearing a strapless top and sharara pants set from Ridhima Bhasin. The set was interesting but I think would’ve looked better with a neckpiece here.

She also wore a pink sari to designer Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party on Sunday and while she looked nice, I had no love for that sheer corset style blouse. Catch that inside.
