The Gods must be listening to us because just when we complained that we would like to see Ms. Shetty in something other than a Leger, we stumble upon this shoot which has her in several Indian designers’ outfits (Manish Malhotra, but of course included). Although we’d like for this to happen in real life too, for now we’ll settle for this.

For an extremely attractive lady, unfortunate clothes seem to rather regularly happen to Kajol!

Nothing wrong with the sweater/top itself, its just the pairing of it with those slightly high-waisted pants that ruin it for her! Had she worn ’em with a lower waisted pair of denims and perhaps a tank or a top inside, she would’ve nailed it!

Oh well.

When Priyanka first sported the look in ‘Dostana’, we were too distracted by all that velvet Manish Malhotra had been doing and sure didn’t spot brocade creep up on us!

Who knew brocade cholis would be the next big thing in every movie that Manish Malhotra had a hand in?!

P.S. Wonder what these ladies feel about having the same look as the other.

Also attending the IPL Gala Dinner in Capetown in South Africa was Preity Zinta who wore a white Manish Malhotra sari from the designer’s recent collection previewed at Lakme Fashion Week held last month.

Although, the sari looks quite like what Kareena wore to the 2009 Filmfare Awards, Preity’s is actually different. Hers doesn’t have the extra design on the body that Kareena had. You can check out Kareena’s Manish Malhotra sari, also shown on the runway in a different color, here.
