Trust Urmila and Raveena to be the flag bearers of tinsel-town’s favorite designer, Manish Malhotra.

Like Katrina, Urmila too picked white, except hers had a dash of red. Also in MM, Raveena opted for an anarkali in black-and-red.

What can we say that hasn’t already been said before? 🙂

Katrina abandoned both her favorites (Gauri-Nainika/Rocky S) in opting for a Manish Malhotra design for the red carpet. The white looks great on her but frankly we aren’t excited about seeing another Manish Malhotra creation!

The Mijwan-Sonnets in Fabric is fundraiser show for Mijwan Welfare Society founded by the late Kaifi Azmi for the empowerment of the girl child in rural India.

This year Shabana Azmi paired up with designer Manish Malhotra and got the who’s who of Bollywood to walk for the show some of whom you’ll see below.

Coming back to Shabana, while I really liked the extended blouse that she sported with her Manish Malhotra sari, I just wish the sleeves weren’t brocade. The hair also was a downer.
