Like Sabina, Kareena Kapoor was spotted sporting a design off the runway before the collection hit the runway. Her white anarkali featured a kashmiri style embroidered v-neck design and a cutout at the back. Most of the time, when you all mention that a dupatta is missing, I don’t agree but on this ocassion I do feel a pale gold net dupatta would’ve completed the look perfectly.

After a spate of garish designs, these two recent Manish Malhotras had us not quite gushing but almost there. We loved the toned down designs, especially Katrina’s.

Okay, so you know we are suckers for purple. Think Sri knows too? :p

We thought Sridevi looked pretty good, but we aren’t particularly fond of the outfit (Manish Malhotra?) itself. All that satin-ey fabric just looks overwhelming. Not feeling the velvet accents on her anarkali either.

Love her look waist-up. Let’s call this one a ‘Not Quite‘.

South stars Tamanna and Anushka were winners at the 2011 Kalaimamani Awards and went for a traditional look with Tamanna opting for a sari and Anushka, a Manish Malhotra anarkali suit.

The full-sleeve blouse on Tamannah just overwhelmed and as for Anushka, for lack of a good full-length picture, am on the fence. I felt she looked plain. Who do you prefer?

Update: Tamannah is wearing a Nishka Lulla sari.

Having seen others wear the floor-length Manish Malhotras, it was only a matter of time before Kajol was sported in one. Having said that, I’ll take this over the others even though she does look like she is drowning in fabric. The white is better than the patchwork/brocade suits we’ve seen on her
