Alia and Ranbir did a griha pravesh puja at their new home where she was seen in a tissue handloom sari, embellished by Manish Malhotra. The sleeve design was interesting and one that I liked.
Anyone able to identify the weave from the design in the pallu? Feels like a tissue kanjeevaram but am probably wrong.

Karisma attended the store launch of Swadesh wearing a full- sleeve blouse from Manish Malhotra paired with a chanderi sari from Swadesh. Hair in a middle parted low bun, she finished out her look with ear studs and upper lobe ear pieces.
I love the sari and the jewellery. On the fence about the blouse as it felt too bulky for the light sari and the hair.

Unless you live under a rock, you know JLo was in India to perform at a big fat wedding and during one of the events prior to her performance was seen in a pink lattice pattern sari from Manish Malhotra with diamond and russian emerald jewellery. The bust was a bit too snug but she wore it well. First time I’ve seen a a maang tikka that didn’t look overtly costumey.

At promotions of her upcoming movie, Fatima was seen in saris and a green sharara set from Manish Malhotra. Given that the movie is produced by the designer, we are probably going to see Fatima in only his designs for the rest of the promotional series.
Having said that, have a favorite? I liked the sharara set.

Ananya attended a friend’s wedding wearing a vintage Jacques Fath corset with an eyelet lace sari from Manish Malhotra. For the photoshoot she wore a earcuff but at the event was seen without it.
From a fashion POV, this was a great combination and I must add I loved. Just wish she had reserved it for an event where we could’ve gotten some good pictures.
