Keeping it simple at Manish’s birthday party was Tabu in a black Sabyasachi maxi which she wore with a red belt, a beaded clutch and gold earrings.
I wish she’d picked a black belt so that there wasn’t too much of a disconnect between the jewellery and accessories but it wasn’t a deal breaker. She looked nice nevertheless.

After attending the Kid’s Choice Awards in a more youthful look, Alia did sexy at Manish Malhotra’s 50th birthday party wearing a sequin blazer dress by the designer. Hair in a sleek middle-parted do, her look was finished out with triple-strap gold sandals.
She looked good!

If there was anyone that nailed the gold and glamorous dress code (for me at least), it was Ms. Choudry in her Halston Heritage gown and when you are working with a material like lamé , that is no easy feat.
Kudos to Sophie! She looked hella hot!

Malaika did silver at Manish’s party wearing a Monisha Jaising dress with rings from Renu Oberoi Fine Jewellery and Mahesh Notandas.
Between the bustier looking two sizes too small and the overdose of blush on the cheeks, there was just nothing I liked here. Oh Malaika, when you do formal, you do it so well. Why can’t the party looks also follow the same tone?

Akshay and Twinkle co-ordinated at Manish’s birthday soiree by doing black and white. They may have picked simple colors to wear but each added something interesting to their outfit by way of accessories with the former wearing an animal print loafers and the latter, a chunky gold bangle and an Alexander McQueen clutch.
