Considering how gorgeous Malaika looked in her Rami Al Ali gown, it’s a bummer we don’t have better pics of her. The one-toned makeup matching the color of the gown made the emerald earrings pop out even much more so.

While on the promo tour for her upcoming movie, Malaika sure has kept it interesting with her sartorial choices. It’s been a mixed bag with predictable choices, surprising moves and both hits and misses. Below are three of her recent appearances with one look being expected, one not too far from her comfort zone and one look we didn’t see coming on her. We’ll leave you to guess which was which. Malaika did separates at the music launch of DKD wearing a Hugo Boss jacket with Manish Arora leggings. The leggings may have been spunky but she gave the look a more elegant touch by wearing her hair in a ponytail and adding vintage Sonia Rykiel earrings from Viange. Since she was representing more as the producer of the film, I quite appreciate the move.

The issue with this look though was the jacket itself. The satin yellow jacket probably looked good in person but photographed horribly.

Before taking off to enjoy the holidays, Malaika sneaked in a bit of promotions for Dolly Ki Doli wearing a Michael Kors maxi with Dior earrings and nude pumps.

Swara attended the Life OK Awards doing an earthy look in a sari by Anavila. The linen sari featuring applique flowers was worn with a pink blouse instead of the one showed on the runway, a move that elevated the look.

Jewellery by Estaa and Swara’s own kolhapuris finished out her look. She looked great.
