It wasn’t a surprise to see Zayed Khan walk the runway for Manav Gangwani, but I was quite surprised to see Shruti Haasan only because I couldn’t recognize her at first glance. Even though the outfit makes her look like a displaced genie in search of her bottle, can’t ignore that fierce face! Not bad for a first time.

P.S. Shruti’s outfit is worth Rs. one crore! (Cuz the choli has diamonds in it.) Got spare change? 😛

It sure is a very plain and might we add very-run-of-the-mill kind of Manav Gangwani sari, but you can’t deny that Tabu wears it with ease and grace (even though that halter blouse is daringly low-cut). Now, imagine how much better she would be if she picked something better!

Hrithik and Suzanne at IIFA 2009: Fashion Extravaganza

Hrithik and Suzanne walked the runway at the IIFA 2009 Fashion Extravaganza where they both displayed jewellery by Suzanne’s sister Farah Ali Khan. Suzanne wore a red strapless Manav Gangwani gown and while I think there was way too much red going on with her outfit, one look at Hrithik and I have no complains!

What is going on with Hrithik, yo! Somebody gift him a Gilette Mach-4 already! (Or whatever his shaving kit of choice is.)

Malaika Khan (Zayed’s wife) wore a white Manav Gangwani sari. In a way, I wish that she had gone with a simpler blouse instead of that turtle-necky one that she had on.

Although, I hated Freida’s sari color (who was also wearing a Manav sari), I do like her blouse design better than Malaika’s. What about you?

P.S. I know you might confuse the names but Zayed’s wife’s name IS Malaika and not Mallika. 😉
