Designer Shahab Durazi seems to be having the best week ever. Earlier in the week, we saw Simi and Mallika sport his latest couture collection but Mallika topped herself by wearing another white gown by the designer to the White House Correspondents Dinner hosted by President Barack Obama.

Despite the fact that the white looks too bridal and the hair same ole’ same ole’ , can’t quite complain because Mallika does look good.

Ms. Sherawat spared a few minutes to interview with Hollywood.TV over the week while a photoshoot and we instantly recognized the red Shahab Durazi couture gown on her. You’ll remember seeing a variation of it on Katrina Kaif at the Zee Rishtey Awards in Dec (see here).

A few days ago, we had also spotted her in an orange Shahab Durazi gown and below are the pics from the event. Love the color on her but now that we’ve seen a good full-length, totally hating the black heels.

In Stella McCartney (And Shahab Durazi)

Ms. Sherawat made two appearances last week, both in gowns that had lace details. On Wednesday, she picked an orange Shahab Durazi gown to the 2011 HealthCorps’ Fresh From the Garden gala in New York, pics of which you can find here for now.

A couple days later, Ms. Sherawat jetted off to Vienna to attend the 22nd Kurier Romy Gala where she was spotted in a Pre-Fall 2010 Stella McCartney.

If you ask us, we much preferred the orange Shahab on her (see pics here). If she’d skipped the necklace with the Stella, we’d loved it too.

On The Red Carpet

Mallika wore a sparkly white gown with a thigh-high slit to the Academy Awards. Not a fan of the dress (the bodice lost us) but Ms. Sherawat definitely looked good!

Ms. Sherawat was spotted last night at the Rolling Stone bash in a lace satin halter gown. On Wednesday, she picked a fringed white one-shoulder one. Question is, which look do you prefer?

While the length was what turned me off on the white one, it was the bust on the lace one.
