Malavika took in Amit Aggarwal‘s show wearing a white and black gown by the designer. In most of her past appearances, I’ve mentioned that her makeup doesn’t always match the dress. No complaints here though. The smoky eyes worked perfectly with the gown. Having said that though, the gown was a bit too elaborate of a pick for a front row appearance.

While exiting a local eatery on Saturday evening, Malavika was spotted wearing a floral print Lola By Suman B playsuit with ankle-strap sandals. She looked nice but she could’ve done better with the footwear choice.

At the Vogue Beauty Awards, Malavika was seen in a black Gaurav Gupta gown featuring grey sculptural plissé work. Unfortunately, a sculptural edgy do or even a top knot and more defined eyes would’ve helped her a whole lot more here. As is, her head looked awkwardly small among all that plissé work.

Malavika picked a gunmetal Kartikeya beaded mini to wear to the GQ 100 best dressed soiree, pairing it with metallic strappy heels and a middle parted ponytail. Unfortunately, the mini needed more. The makeup and hair didn’t do justice.

We were quite underwhelmed. You?

On an aside, everyone sees the Balmain influence here, right? 😉

Wearing an Amit Aggarwal gown, Malavika attended the AsiaSpa Awards on Monday evening. She sure wore the gown well but something about her makeup seemed off. The lip color needed to be a bit more darker to make it pop.

Just me feeling that way?
