Ms. Arora probably had a 20s theme in mind when she planned this look in a fresh off the runway Shehlaa. Unfortunately, the execution didn’t work one bit and where do we begin at where it went wrong.

We weren’t fans of the dress on the runway to begin with and aren’t fans of the longer version either. Adding to the dress’ woes were those beaded slingbacks and beaded clutch. This look got super busy and super bad, pretty fast!

Two different events saw Malaika go short, one in a pair of green shorts and another in a lace romper. Of the two, prefer the look from LFW, although would’ve liked to see her wear a more subtle belt.

As for the romper look, let’s leave it at the fact that it was a brunch event.

Toni&Guy’s launch event themed HairMeetWardrobe had these ladies wearing Manish Arora designs and of them all it was easy to pick Shibani as the best styled. The one we liked least, Soha. While on the model (see here), the dress length worked, on her it just didn’t.
