Both Kubbra and Nushrat walked a recent red carpet wearing red- the former picked a sparkly gown by Lia Stublla and the latter, a sari-inspired gown. Was I fan of either look? Not really, both veered dangerously close to ‘tacktastic‘ territory. But if I had to pick one, I do think Nushrat fared better at the Awards (even if not by much); she made the look work for her.

Opting for red gowns with thigh high slits were both Kriti and Mouni. Kriti fared better relatively by keeping the look simple. As for Mouni, the sleeve on that gown felt very unnecessary and weighed down the look.

Wearing red Lia Stublla gowns that featured thigh-high slits, both Sunny and Shruti attended a recent awards event. Odd that the label would send practically the same gown to two actors for the same awards night. That aside, prefer Shruti’s look over Sunny’s; pink pumps that mirrored the pink lip worked. On Sunny, the updo was too Eighties for the gown, and the neutral strappy sandals didn’t quite work; should’ve just picked black ones instead.

At the Hello! awards held recently, Asha was photographed in a Lia Stublla gown. Retro-inspired wavy hair and pair of metallic ankle-strap sandals rounded out her look. The puckering at the hem was a downer. But it doesn’t take away from the fact that she looked good on the red carpet!
