It wouldn’t be a launch without a big celebrity and so Zara finally entered the India market first in Delhi with Lara as the guest of honor and today in Mumbai with Kareena.

Lara wore a strapless blue Zara number accessorizing with pink Zara ankle-straps and envelope clutch while Kareena picked a soft pink chiffon dress with gold sandals. If you ask us, we think neither did justice to the brand where the dresses were concerned. We like the color clash on Lara but the dress itself is too cutesy for her and Kareena’s is just so bleh. Care for either or neither?

IIFA Awards’ first major event, the charity fashion show just started and pictures of the stars are just trickling in.

Lara Dutta, attended the green carpet with rumored (guess confirmed now) bf Mahesh Bhupathi. She wore a 90’s Hervé Léger dress with Louboutin sandals and a Zanotti clutch that we’ve seen on her many times.

It isn’t the best pic but it’s enough for me to decide that I don’t like the sandals with the dress. They make her legs look stalky stocky with the way they cut off. Also, I wish she had worn the straps down to her shoulders as seen on the mannequin.

Spotted on Lara, on her way to Colombo for the 2010 IIFA Awards, the Jimmy Choo patent Sky Bag. She paired her denims with tan Choo wedges and a tan jacket with studded details. You might scream it’s a “Match-Much” but it works because the color isn’t overwhelming.
