There should be a law against certain kind of clothes. Like that yellow number on the left. There also needs to be a law against certain kind of footwear. Like the one on the left. How else are we going to protect unsuspecting and otherwise lovely women like Lakshmi?

In comparison, Lakshmi fared a lot better at the sari exhibition. Sure the fit of those pants was off but, we’d take that any day over the other one. Besides, waist-up, she did look good.

Both ladies opted for separates at their respective events and while we think both of ’em looked nice, wish Ms. Manchu had skipped the cuff and picked a different pair of shoes.

For us, Mugdha’s casual take comes out on top.

Spotted Ms. Manchu in a colorful Satya Paul sari that we had previously seen on Malaika wear on the runway for the label.

We for one love color but, the sari itself is a tad much for us. Lakshmi does wear it very well though.

Though we like the Suhani Pittie necklace that Ms. Manchu has on, who can even really notice when rest of the outfit is oh-so-wrong! Between the flats, the lurex churidaar, the hair and the unnecessary earrings and bracelet, it’s all but lost.

We’ve seen Ms. Manchu do way better… This appearance of hers however, is an unmitigated disaster. That color is just sooo wrong!
