Sanjay Garg’s show saw Mini front row wearing a white sari with a blue Sanjay Garg jacket. I didn’t mind the sari and jacket combo but the top knot is where this look stopped working on her. Wearing it like that made the look very desi-geisha-ish.

Just wearing her hair down naturally would’ve made this look feel more effortless than costumey. Agree?

Sari Style

Tillotama attended Sanjay Garg’s show on day two wearing a cream sari by the designer with a full-sleeved blouse. While I loved her hairdo and jewellery pick, I wasn’t feeling the same way about her blouse. Between the full-sleeves and the puffy shoulders, wasn’t a fan.

I also wish she’d worn delicate gold sandals instead of those chunky ones that she had on. Minor gripes but with a different blouse and sandal, this could’ve been an even more effective look. Yep, am in the nitpicking mode suddenly. 😛

Wearing Sanjay Garg, Tisca attended the designer’s show on day two of Lakme Fashion Week. Gold jhumkis, an oval minaudiere and Gucci slipon sandals finished out her look.

It was simple yet very effective look.

Sona took in the Kallol Datta show and Anavila one on day two of Lakme Fashion Week wearing a dress by the former first and a sari by the latter.

Given that we rarely see the songstress in a sari, it was the Anavila look that we were instantly drawn to. The smile also helped. 🙂

A fan of Antar-Agni, Genelia took in the label’s show at Lakme Fashion Week wearing black separates from the label. The light-weight tunic and pants looked quite interesting but with the hair down, one really couldn’t see more of the details.

Wish she’d worn her hair up or back in a ponytail.
