In Nishka Lulla

Lending her support to designer Nishka was Shruti wearing an outfit by the former. A studded clutch and choker necklace completed her look. We don’t mind that she added a choker, just don’t think the one she had on worked with the look.

LFW Winter Festive 2012 Grand Finale: Kallol Datta

LFW changed it up this edition (a very welcome change, we’d like to add) by doing a double feature grand finale with designers Kallol Datta and Pankaj & Nidhi.

Kallol was the opening designer featuring a 54 piece mix and match collection, Cuts. In addition to his trademark deconstructed looks, we saw tassels and metallic accents.

The collection isn’t for everyone but around here, we are fans.

In Mary Katrantzou

Our excitement of seeing a Mary Katrantzou at Fashion Week was quickly doused when we saw how it was styled. The BV knot worked well but why pair those sandals with that dress. Don’t get us started on the payot-ish hair!

In Twos

These two ladies were spotted in silk dotted dresses (Poorna being in Deepika Govind and Richa in Sanchita) in opposite color schemes. Got a favorite? While neither rocked the boat in styling, Poorna edged out Richa by a tiny margin by opting for bare lips.

LFW Winter Festive 2012: Abhishek Dutta

Abhishek Dutta’s futruristic collection consisting of menswear and womenswear was marked by tangram prints. Purple and grey were the dominant colors in this winter collection. Would love to have one of those flared printed pants or even the top in my closet. Not that creepy gas mask, but of course.
