For recent wedding festivities in Mumbai, Kiran picked Raw Mango to wear. For the daytime wedding it was a scallop-edged sari, one that she teamed with a pastel Celine bag. For the reception in the evening, it was an oxblood sharara, one that she teamed with Amrapali jewelry.

Loved her in the sharara; the color looked great on her.

Kiran attended Akash and Shloka’s engagement party wearing a metallic NorBlack NorWhite skirt. The metallic skirt on its own wasn’t going to be an easy one to pull off, but I really loved how she wore it. In pairing it with the long kurta, the skirt was toned down and the yellow blazer provided a great pop of color contrast.

At Raw Mango’s ‘Midnight’ launch, an event that she co-hosted, Kiran was photographed wearing an organza sari from the just launched collection. But of course! Gold-toned jewelry and understated make-up rounded out the filmmaker’s look well.

Wouldn’t change a thing; she looked lovely.

At her Diwali party, Kiran stuck to her favorite designer, Sanjay Garg, wearing a cotton sari and matching blouse from his latest collection. Given that Chinese collar style neckline of the blouse, her temple necklace felt a bit awkward.

But then, this is Ms. Rao we are talking about and I rather take her fuss-free style over a look that feels over-styled.
