Shashi Kapoor was felicitated with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in Mumbai yesterday and for the event, Karisma picked an AM:PM by Ankur and Priyanka Modi suit. Tassel earrings, a potli and red kolhapuris finished out her look. While the look was definitely match-ey, it worked; Ms. Kapoor looked lovely. Understated and event appropriate… I like.

Red was a popular pick at the HT Most Stylish event with Kiara, Monica and Amyra all sporting it. Amyra opted for a red Hema Kaul lace and satin gown, one that was also seen on Karisma in the Lodha Campaign ads (see inside).

While the gown worked in the print ad, on Amyra under all that camera flash, it felt rather overwhelming. As did the addition of the deep red lip. I can’t say am a fan of the look. You like?

Showing her support to Kareena, who served as showstopper at the Anamika Khanna show, Karishma attended LFW wearing a fusion layered sari Anamika Khanna look. Keeping it simple and monochromatic has always been Karisma’s mantra and she didn’t step too much out of her safe zone here either. She looked nice.

I just wished her hairdo was different. The bouffant style ponytail seemed a bit off here. What do you think?

Karisma attended a Mumbai school’s annual function as the guest of honor wearing a Varun Bahl separates look from the designer’s LFW collection.

Against the pleated pants, the jacket zipped up looked a bit odd but that’s probably just to me. Like what you see?

She finished out her look with a black Ferragamo clutch and black peep-toe pumps.

Karisma Kapoor inaugurated Anjali Jain’s flagship store in Mumbai wearing a look from the designer. Heavily kohl-ed eyes, Chanel clutch and gold sandals finished out her look. Can’t say am a fan of either the jumpsuit or the matching jacket but trust Karisma to fare better than most others would have in it.
