At the screening of her movie, Kajol was seen in a printed bow tie-blouse and black pants and while I loved the contrast added by way of the green earrings, the earrings themselves felt a bit kiddish. Minor gripe though. Overall, she looked good!

Designer Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party on Wednesday evening had Kajol in attendance wearing a custom creation by the designer, but of course. We are going to be bombarded by all colors and variations of sequins at this event but I do want to appreciate this simple top and pants set on her. She looked nice.

At the trailer launch of her movie, Kajol was seen in a custom Gauri and Nainika pant suit and while she looked lovely waist up, just wish, they’d just left this look as a strong pant suit instead of the unnecessary train with the pants.

For dashami, Kajol opted for a red and white weave mimicking the Bengali laal paar but she draped it the nivi way. The motifs on the pallu again are confusing me about the source.

Navami celebrations saw Kajol in a Punit Balana pink and purple sari and Ashatami in a floral Sabyasachi. She wore her hair worn up in a loose low bun both times. Have a favorite?
I was drawn more to the Balana.
