In Bhumika Sharma

As part of Shivaay promotions, Kajol and Ajay taped a Diwali special on the Kapil Sharma Show on Saturday. Going with the theme, Kajol went desi wearing a gold and white Bhumika Sharma anarkali with Satyani jewels.

At first glance, the floor length anarkali felt like it was adding unnecessary bulk on her, but the more I look, the less I mind it. Perhaps, because I love the makeup and hairdo so much more, am not quite paying attention to the anarkali.

In Jade

Wearing a chevron kurta and black pants from Jade, Kajol joined hubby Ajay for a session at the Aaj Tak Manthan Summit for Shivaay Promotions.

Peep-toe pumps and a layered Ritika Sachdeva necklace finished out her look. She looked nice.

In Nikhil Thampi

Kajol attended the Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards wearing a half and half colorblock Nikhil Thampi gown with Nirav Modi jewellery. While I cannot fault the makeup and hairdo here, the gown and jewellery is where I thought the look faltered. Especially, now that I have seen the bad stitching at the bust, I just can’t unsee it and the flower necklace made for a really odd pick with the gown.

I wish she’d worn something from the designer’s staples collection.

Besides wearing saris, Kajol also attended Durga Puja sporting silk chikankari work kurtas wearing both with white leggings.

Can’t say we liked either one. Did you?

In Payal Khandwala

Ashtami celebrations saw Kajol in another sari, this time in a Payal Khandwala colorblocked silk one. As lovely as Kajol looked, am on the fence about the blouse pick.

If this any other event, I wouldn’t give two hoots about it but here it seemed a bit out of place. Go ahead, call me a prude.
