Kajol unveiled her wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Singapore on Thursday evening wearing a Shivan & Narresh printed sari. I have to admit, I wouldn’t have thought of seeing her in this fusion sari but having said that, she looked great in it! so much so, that the wax figure looked a wee bit pale in comparison. But, don’t they all next to the real thing. 😛

Yup, it was a Manish Malhotra sari for Kajol. Wearing her hair down, she rounded out the look with jewelry from Renu Oberoi and a Judith Leiber clutch.

Kajol attended the Filmfare Awards wearing an off-shoulder velvet gown by Manish Malhotra with LDezen jewellery. We don’t have pics from the red carpet (and probably won’t get it because of the event organizer’s embargo) but from what we see, do like the color on her and the finishing touches.

If we had any concerns, it would be those sleeves. They seemed too be a tad too tight.

In Gauri And Nainika

For her appearance at a recent soirée in Mumbai, Kajol picked a Gauri and Nainika dress to wear. Letting the dramatic sleeve have its moment, the actor wore her hair slicked back. Black accessories that included a pair of Intoto pumps rounded out the look.

Kajol wore the dress well. But given the voluminous sleeve, I do wish she had chosen pumps that weren’t quite as heavy/chunky; would’ve balanced out things nicely. It’s only a minor gripe though, Kajol made it work! That diamond cuff however needed to go; it instantly dated the look.

Pairing a Zara bodysuit with wide-legged trousers, Kajol attended a recent event in Mumbai. With her hair pulled back in to a ponytail, she rounded out the look with earrings from Misho and black sandals.

Had the trousers been cropped, or just a tad longer, the proportions would’ve worked. As is, she would’ve been better off choosing pair of heels not quite as high. Nice as she looked waist-up, the look in its entirety left us underwhelmed.
