Kiara’s cotton-silk suit might not be everyone’s cup of tea but I have to admit, it was one that I liked. It was young, spunky and I loved the touch of whimsy which came by the addition of the Leiber chihuahua minaudiere.

Having said that though, the Outhouse necklace was not quite needed here. This look needed one focal point and the minaudiere should’ve been it.

For the Filmfare pre-awards bash, Richa picked a sheer Akanksha Gajria sari wearing it with a velvet halter blouse. A Valliyan midi ring, Prerto earrings and a cupcake Leiber minaudiere finished out her look.

Between the sheer sari and bikini style blouse, the sari look just felt too in your face. I would’ve loved to see the original blouse for a more balanced look.

Vaani attended the Filmfare bash wearing a strapless Hugo Boss dress with jewellery from Anmol and a Leiber clutch. I knew right away I didn’t like the length on Ms. Kapoor and the runway pic just confirmed it. I also thought the leopard pattern clutch clashed with the printed dress.

We’ll mark this as a Not Quite.

Wearing Ayinat by Taniya O’Connor, Sonali attended Screen Awards held last night. With her hair in an updo, she finished out the look with Payal Pratap ear-cuffs, Isharya palm ring, Judith Leiber minaudière and Jimmy Choo sandals.

All that fabric can’t be flattering on most and even on Sonali, I remain undecided. Having said that though, Ms. Bendre looked nice on the red carpet and her outfit made for a change from all the gowns we saw.

Richa shimmered in her Anushka Khanna suit while at a recent Awards night. Gold-tone accessories that included jewelry from Isharya, minaudière from Judith Leiber and strappy heels finished out her look. While she wears the look well, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the make-up. I understand the need for wanting to keep the make-up understated given the outfit, but truth be told, the bronzed look didn’t quite work. Would have rather seen her go retro with fresh faced make-up, kitten-eye and glossy lip. She’d have looked even better!
