Ileana’s been having quite the sartorial highs and lows lately. After knocking it out of the park with her last appearance, this look didn’t quite have the same effect. Between the Topshop lace bralet and the Zara faux-leather pencil skirt, the look didn’t feel as sexy as it did forced. Partially pinned hair, Futurology earrings and metallic Jimmy Choos finished out her look.

You might recall seeing this skirt (albeit in different colors) on Lisa and Parineeti, and a version on Surveen as well.

For the Kors opening soiree, Ileana picked a one-shouldered dress from the Fall 2014 collection finishing out the look with lace booties from Jimmy Choo.

On the model as you can see, the dress ended much higher. With all those ruffles, the higher hemline created a balancing effect. But, on Ileana it was more of a maxi which is probably why the look felt rather overwhelming on her. Waist up though, she looked great.

What do you think of the dress? Did it feel like Ms. D’Cruz was drowning in it?

Another day of Happy Ending promotions and we saw Ileana in another wide-legged pants look, this time a Deme one paired with an H&M bustier and finished out with a Maithili Kabre ring and yellow Jimmy Choo Tebori sandals.

As gorgeous as Ileana might be, her recent appearances just have not been up to par. This particular look included. The separates just didn’t make for a balanced look. She would’ve fared much better in cropped cigarette pants/culottes.

For promotions of Happy Ending with the print media, Ileana opted for another separates look wearing a plaid Deme crop top with white pants, earrings from Amrapali and Choo Houry pumps.

From this angle, the pants felt like they needed to be just a wee bit longer but other than I liked the look even though the crop-top look came too quickly after this one.

Priyanka doesn’t quite agree with me so the question is, what’s your verdict on this look?

One to normally do black and white or pastels, Karisma surprised us by going for a bold red look in a Swati Vijaivargie red kurta and dhoti pants at the launch of a food brand in Delhi today.

Picking up on the gold gotawork of the kurta, she added more gold accents to the look by wearing earrings from Zariin , a lustworthy Valliyan by Nitya haathphool, a Purplesack clutch and Jimmy Choo sandals.

It’s quite a departure from her norm but she looked great. You like?
